Department of Posts Strengthens Digital Logistics Through ONDC Integration
The Department of Posts’ integration with ONDC allows sellers using ONDC-enabled buyer applications to select the Department for end-to-end parcel services, including pickup, booking, transmission, and last-mile delivery.
These services are delivered through the Department’s extensive nationwide postal network, enhancing accessibility for sellers across urban and rural India.
Currently, the Department of Posts is live on ONDC through the “Click & Book” logistics model. This model enables sellers to digitally generate pickup requests, select the Department of Posts as their logistics partner, and schedule parcel collection directly from their premises.
